Public Art Commissions

We worked with Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Arts Partnership to provide a forum to discuss the variety of ways in which public art can deliver community benefit. Arts+Media developed a course to give a common understanding of, and approach to, public art within local authority projects, enabling officers working in areas like regeneration, leisure and community development to understand how public art can achieve the goals of different departments.  A pilot of the course took place in October 2007 and further events are scheduled for 2009/10.
