Emergency Exit Arts was founded in 1980, Emergency Exit Arts (EEA) is an artist-centred organisation with a creative pool of performers, musicians, designers, visual artists, pyrotechnists, puppeteers, makers, composers and inventors and is led by artistic director Deb Mullins.

EEA runs a large and varied programme and has become one of the UK's leading street arts companies producing unique celebratory events and community based projects. The company also manages the Bollywood Brass Band and Crocodile Style street band.
