Since its inception in 1989, The ACMC has been at the forefront of African, Caribbean and Latin American music in the UK .

The primary aims and objectives of the ACMC is to raise the profile of these music genres and create new markets for the music within the UK.

Working with both international artists as well as artists based in the UK, the ACMC will actively produce a range of musical events annually. Our production team will solicit funding from the private and public sector, devise promotional and marketing strategies and liaise and network with venues and music production specialists, culminating in productions of the highest calibre that maximise exposure of the artists and reach as wide an audience as possible.

Our commitment to communities is to provide them with music indigenous to their ancestral lands, thereby strengthening their cultural ties with their homelands. We are also able to give them a channel within which they are able to develop their own talents and receive logistical assistance to develop these further.

Non native Africans, Caribbeans and Latin Americans, are introduced to beautiful sounds and melodies that they may not have had the opportunity to hear other wise.

Our events are well staged, entertaining and informative. They give rise to new markets and are fundamental in attaining a foothold within the music industry for African, Caribbean and Latin-American music .
