Leroy Henry

I am an interdisciplinary Artist teacher, Curator and Freelance Arts co-ordinator.

I make and exhibit my own work, instigate and curate group exhibitions within the local community and have worked and continue to work as artist in residence on several projects in and outside the West Midlands area.

Present project: A2A, Artist Access to Art Colleges in association with The A.C.E supports self motivated academic study to further develop my practise and International exhibitions. I'm currently an artist in residence at The F-ish Gallery in Hastings developing a new body of work for exhibitions local and global.

F-ISH is run by established luminaries from the UK art world – Simon Hedges and Jenny Blyth, both have far-reaching experience of running galleries in the UK and worked jointly to curate the Saatchi Collection.

My Work touches upon themes such as: Regeneration, peoples emotional associations with places and spaces.

I have been experimenting with Advanced Paper Engineering and Printmaking to develop my ongoing research.

This work is influenced by experimental, explorative 3D engineering to bring about awareness of emotional associations to the built environment, and this
has been transformed into bold original prints.
