Family Music Maze

Music Maze is an exciting series of fun, creative, participatory workshops for children age 8 – 11 inclusive organised and run by Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (BCMG). On January 11, we are inviting children to bring along an adult family member to take part in the workshop alongside them. The workshop will be led by BCMG Education Manager Nancy Evans, composer Liz Johnson and BCMG musicians and will be linked to music to be performed by BCMG in their Family Concerts on Saturday 17 January 2008.

Geometry of Fear - Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum

Bringing together sculptures and works on paper from the Arts Council Collection, Geometry of Fear explores the generation of sculptors that emerged in the post-war years, creating work in direct response to the horrors of the Holocaust and World War II, and in reaction to the climate of fear generated by the Cold War. The exhibition will be at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum from 16 January - 15 March 2009.
