“interchat” a dialogue on arts and communities with local and international perspectives

Over two days in April 2010 Laundry and Drum will be holding a dialogue which will be of great interest to artists, practitioners, arts organisations, NGO’s and local and regional agencies. "interchat" is organised by Laundry in partnership with Birmingham City Council and The Drum. Featuring such names as Airan Berg, Linz 2009 European Capital of Culture (Austria); François Matarasso (UK); Fundacja Pogranicze (Poland); Laundry (UK); Nova Kultura (Bulgaria) they will look to help artists and practitioners develop practices in the context of community engagement. Day two will be of more interest to artists, arts organisations, NGO’s, local authority officers and regional agencies interested in cross cultural practice, community engagement and international perspectives.
