Course Details
Ensuring the participation of children and young people in projects that affect them is important, but it can be difficult. This course has been designed to help organisations that have a responsibility for children and young people’s participation or those whose work involves interaction with young people, especially in arts projects.
Outline
Using practical and interactive exercises and activities, and case studies of playtrain consultation projects, the day will help you to reflect on the barriers to and benefits of participation and show you how to avoid the most common pitfalls of encouraging involvement. The day will be tailored to help you apply what you have learned to your own work.
