Mentoring can be a useful tool in helping you to develop confidence, acquire further management skills and perhaps try out new techniques.
What is Mentoring?
There are many different types of mentoring and many definitions of the term mentor.
A+M mentoring is about using their experience and knowledge to help artists and managers to develop to their full potential.

A mentor:
- Listens
- Asks questions
- Helps the mentee to reach development goals
- Acts as a sounding-board
- Challenges the mentee to raise his/her self-awareness
- Helps the mentee to find solutions
- Supports and encourages the mentee in order to build his/her confidence
- Provides feedback
- Encourages focused reflection
- Inspires the mentee to fulfil his/her potential
