Penny Amis

Penny Amis joined the board of trustees of A+M in 2003.

She spent many years working for international businesses at senior manager and director level. Penny and her husband ran and ultimately sold two small businesses: she was director of a training business and a freelance trainer for some years.

In 1997 Penny joined Business Link as a business adviser. Her work here included identifying barriers to company growth, developing strategic action plans, raising awareness of best practice and providing mentoring advice and guidance. In 2005 she left Business Link and is now a self-employed business adviser and consultant.

Penny has had a lifelong interest in the arts. As well as being a business adviser to organisations and artists, Penny is on the board of Open Theatre and on the management committee of Side by Side Theatre.
