Ros Fry is an arts marketing consultant and trainer. She is author of The Marketing Map, commissioned by the Arts Marketing Association and available to buy from www.westmeadcreative.org.uk , priced £15.

Ros started her career stuffing envelopes at The Commonwealth Institute, a museum in London about non-western culture. She worked there for six years, becoming head of marketing, press and sponsorship. She moved to the South Bank Centre as senior press officer and ran a monthly column in BBC Music Magazine. Ros went freelance in 1990 as an arts publicist, journalist and
lecturer, moving to Dorset four years later.

In the South West she devised the first arts marketing courses at Dartington College of arts and dozens of CPD courses.  She has trained or mentored  three thousand students, artists and arts managers, run two literary festivals and curated the Made In Dorset exhibition.

Ros is an Action Learning facilitator and co-director of West Mead Creative Ltd. She is currently course leader in arts marketing and communications at the Arts Institute, Bournemouth. Ros  has a first class degree in BA Hons Media Studies at Polytechnic of Central London.
