Richard Hayhow has worked as a theatre director and practitioner for many years and is based in the West Midlands. He has developed, with the Shysters Theatre Company , a wide range of long-term projects and workshops in special schools across the region over the past seven years, working in collaboration with Birmingham Repertory Theatre , Birmingham City Council and Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre .  He is currently working in Castle Wood Special School in Coventry on a six-year residency, supported by Cre8us , that has been set up to influence teaching practice across the curriculum and to enhance children’s development and learning abilities.
