Jennie Jordan
Jennie Jordan is an arts marketer with over 16 years experience of working in the arts, creative industries and the voluntary sector.
She has worked for a range of cultural organisations including Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County Council’s Arts Services, where she marketed festivals, concert series, public art exhibitions and street art, as well as performances taking place in village halls, churches, theatres and a disused electricity sub-station! She was Head of Marketing at Leicester’s Phoenix Arts before moving to the East Midlands audience development agency. There she undertook a range of projects including researching the needs of Asian audiences and promoters, developing a database of audiences for signed and audio described performances and working with artists and venues to develop their business and marketing strategies.
Jennie completed a Masters in Business Administration in 2001 and now, in addition to her consultancy work, which includes work for the Department of Culture Media and Sport, Youth Music and the East Midlands Cultural Consortium amongst others, she lectures on De Montfort University’s Arts Management degree course.
