Adrian Slatcher

Adrian Slatcher is Digital Development Officer at Manchester Digital Development Agency with over ten years of experience in using new technologies with the arts and community sectors. From 2007 he project managed AmbITion, an Arts Council England project which working with a diverse range of arts organisations to turn them into digital exemplars. He has delivered training courses and talks to a diverse range of organisations including the Arts Council and Community Arts North West. An experienced user of new technologies and their uses he is also writes and publishes online.


The Manchester Digital Development Agency (MDDA) is part of Manchester City Council. Its role is to support the regeneration of the city-region through the strategic and practical work of its technology-focused projects and it works with a wide range of local, national and international partners from the government, academic, business and community sectors to achieve this.  
It has the responsibility to develop and implement the Digital Strategy for Greater Manchester. The Strategy aims to create a ‘digital masterplan’ for the city, which will be used to guide future investment and bring together industry, research bodies and community representatives to develop new ideas for services that will benefit residents, local business and the wider community.
